Here is a quote from Richard Bartlett’s The Physics of Miracles:

“If you have a tumor or condition, a disease, or whatever, it has the potential to be healed instantly. Transformation is a miraculous process that can transcend what you think of as the laws of physics. Here’s the point: miracles operate outside your normal reference for reality. They happen all the time, but we sometimes miss them because we habitually focus on what’s still the same— on what’s familiar and what we know and believe consciously. We would have a lot more miracles in our lives if we simply began to notice what is different or new!”

“I came upon this experience by “chance.” One evening I was dancing and noticed that as I moved around the room I could feel different energy patterns emanating from the ground. Curious, I continued to move around the room. I realized that I could “dance the room.” I then did this with music as well and realized that every wave pattern was present in the music. It became easy to coordinate the energy pattern emanating from the room with the music and the movement. In this case, the energy pattern was the guide as it lead me through the space. The possibilities are infinite.”

Those quotes are from an article she published on another site. I had hoped to see them in her new book “The Alchemy of Dance”, but she does share other bits of how she came to dance the earth. Leslie introduces the hows of earth dancing… clearing the body to run earth energy. She makes it so easy one wonders how we ever forgot this essential ingredient of our lives. For me the book and her work are very heartworthy.

I had never thought of earth dancing the way Leslie describes it. Whilst her aim is assisting women in rediscovering their earth connection and their bodies thru dance, I’ve learned quite a bit from her writings. The males among us might well broaden horizons reading thru her material. I’ve come across nothing similar for us guys. The Learning: I am still holding on to states of mind from my upbringing [my mother]. Water is the flow of spirit, of Creativity. Child is a potential I seek to manifest. Alligator demonstrates my desire to control, to hold onto those early states of mind. The phone call and job offer indicate the availability of miracles I could accept… if I were to unconditionally accept what the flow of Spirit and Creativity brings my way.

Once my desire was strong enough, I declared my intent to myself  ”I am very creative in the area of….”, “I get new ideas about….” You can roll your own for this…. keep it strong, definite, and in the now.

The game: This can be concentrated on a bit before going to sleep. Then watch the ideas filter in during the day. Congratulate yourself when they arrive…this is something you want to reinforce until it becomes habitual. My preferred method is to sit relaxed with my coffee, pad and pen, and jot down anything that comes concerning my subject…. it is not unusual to get 6-12 workable ideas in half an hour.

There are other methods, of course. An intense focus on a particular subject works well for some. There are probably as many variations of this as there are individuals. Feel free to email me is you would like to share your method here.

To refine a method, use it often, and don’t discard ideas that at first may seem a bit silly or beyond your abilities. Trust your self, Self, and have fun with it.
